These are not the most spectacular vehicles offered by the French Historic Circuit Championship. Introduced into the competition managed by HVM Racing in 2017, the GTI generation from the 1980s made common cause until the start of the season with the Mazda MX5 MkIs in the Roadster Pro Cup. In Côte-d'Or, the cult models of the Youngtimers GTI Cup finally stood apart. But before going any further, we should already agree on the term “youngtimer”.
