The cloverleaf firm offered Giuseppe Farina the first F1 championship title, followed by that of Juan Manuel Fangio in 1951. These will be the last. The brand was forced to withdraw in 1952 before returning, as a manufacturer, until 1979.

Collector – Alfa Romeo 179 C

Alfa Romeo puts his program F1 on a total break until 1960, when she returned as an engine manufacturer. The in-line 4-cylinders, then the V8s from the cloverleaf brand, will equip many teams (LDS, De Tomaso, etc.).
