The end of the 1990s saw the most incredible GTs ever to emerge from the fertile imagination of engineers compete against each other. The FIA got its hands on the BPR championship in 1997 and came up with regulations allowing a road car, approved in a single copy, to take to the track on the most beautiful tracks, including the circuit of 24 Hours of Le Mans.
