Where did your love of car racing come from?
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot and I think that Formula 1 is the closest thing to it. When I was working on the series Lucky! centered on Bernie Ecclestone, I unearthed archives where we see Alain Prost, Rene Arnoux, Didier Pironi, Patrick Tambay, etc. all gathered around a swimming pool in swimsuits. I had the impression of seeing guys living on a military base, with missions to carry out. They knew that every time they got behind the wheel, there was a chance of not coming back. But they accepted it, just like fighter pilots do. They weren't willingly seeking risk, but it was about winning and believing in yourself to the point of risking your life. You don't see that in tennis or football. The boy I was found this aspect really romantic, even if it is no longer very politically correct to say it.

Yeah,... a very oriented doc. We see all the genius of Ayrton, the sun that he was. No trace of the dark side. And then there is the scripting of the Enemy. Not showing the reconciliation and respect between the two at the end of 93, not including Prost's words, missed the career of Ayrton who became the "Senna Legend" thanks to his opposition to the "Senna Legend". Legend Prost". the two are inseparable, in their grandeur and their “pettiness”. No, this is a one-sided scenario. I almost see it as a pilot for “Drive to survive”. Okay, I'm exaggerating a little. But there is much better: "THE Race in the Blood", a 1991 doc, by Guiter, with images of the Boisnards and Froissart's pen... It was less well packaged, but the content was completely different... . visible on You Tube.
