Let's admit it, the bet of Philippe Streiff and Hervé Bodinier, the organizers of the ERDF Masters Kart, was daring. Trying to restore the nobility of the Paris-Bercy Kart Masters by offering… electric kart races. Motorsport fans keep repeating it: noise is part of the show. Would the public respond? Was the show going to live up to expectations and the level of that offered just ten years ago? With 17 people over the weekend, the attendance reached an overall respectable score for a first. The fans present also gave their voices, Saturday and Sunday; eight-time world rally champion Sébastien Loeb and the new incumbent Lotus F1 Team, Romain Grosjean, being the winners in the applause meter with the young Charles Leclerc. On the track, the spectacle was also present despite the squealing of tires as the only sound source.

“six in number in 2012”?! Ultimately the 2012 and 13 editions were not organized! And yes, 10 years already, what are we waiting for to organize them again? Not necessarily in Bercy, there is Paris la Défense Aréna, or outside the Parc des Princes and especially the Stade de France (we organized the Andros Trophy masquerade there!)
