Lancia Stratos, style and trunk
50 years ago, the Tour de Corse hosted the debut of the Lancia Stratos. In 1972, the Tour de Corse took place at the beginning of November and did not count for the International championship. This gives the organizers the opportunity to welcome Group 5 prototypes, with several manufacturers jumping into the breach to present new models intended to be produced in 500 units in order to be approved in Group 4. This is how the Porsche Carrera RS and the Lancia Stratos make their competition debut.
