Six months after the Hist season finaleoric Tour 2021, the Lédenon circuit returns to historic times to host the second round of the 2022 Championship. After the inaugural round of Nevers Magny-Cours, Once again, more than 300 drivers divided between 11 distinct grids will take to the track to bring back to life the finest hours of motoring over an Easter weekend.
After the multiple practice sessions on Friday, 20 "sprint" races (25 to 30 minutes) will follow one another between Saturday and Sunday, to which will be added the classic endurance of 1h30 (known as the "200 km of Historic Tour") contested outside the French championship.
The Nîmes Lédenon track has the notable particularity of turning counterclockwise. Approved in 1973, it is certainly the most hilly, winding and technical route in the French landscape. Its 3,150 kilometers of track are a permanent call for driving pleasure, from the formidable triple left which follows the straight line from the pits to the bowl which is negotiated after an impressive dive started at the Servie horseshoe bend.
