A true scarecrow of the French Mountain Championship in the 1970s, when he exported his driving skills beyond the Breton borders, Yves Martin left his mark on a whole generation of hill climb enthusiasts with his generous driving and his atypical course. . Yves Martin's mountain epic

From a very young age, the Breton has always been a man of challenges. It was first on two wheels, and more particularly on a bicycle, that he took on his first challenges. A few competitions held as a teenager gave him a taste for winning, competing and surpassing himself. Residing then in a village of barely 2000 souls near Rennes, his birthplace, at a time when bicycles and football attracted more attention than hoops and burnt gum, not much predestined Yves Martin to compete in motorsport.
