The last F1 years of Patrick Tambay

After the emotions experienced at Maranello, Patrick Tambay found refuge at Renault, where he replaced Alain Prost. His arrival in the fold of the Losange, however, coincides with the decline in performance of the French manufacturer, who left Formula 1 at the end of 1985. The Cannes resident did the same a year later at the end of a final adventure with a long-time acquaintance, Carl Haas.

After McLaren et Ferrari, Patrick Tambay joins a 3rd top team by signing with Renault in 1984.
