Died on April 16, 1988 in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert (Loire)

José Dolhem was the half-brother of Didier Pironi. Although he never had the notoriety of his younger brother, he nevertheless started eight years before him. His name appeared for the first time in 1964 when he took part in Operation Ford Jeunesse, on a Lotus Seven. He shines especially in hill climbs (1er at Ventoux, 2e at Mont-Dore, 3e à Urcy).
