Born January 9, 1960 in Lyon (Rhône)

Pa precocious helot for the time, Pascal Fabre distinguished himself in karting (4e of the Junior world championship) before being crowned Elf Paul-Ricard Driver in 1978. His debut in Formula Renault are difficult because he has to settle for 7e place in the 1979 championship, with only one podium at Nogaro. He nevertheless makes the bet of going directly to the F3, with Serge Saulnier's Promatecme team. Good pick: he becomes vice-champion
