Matra Jet V6, law enforcement present at Le Mans Classic
Nothing like a Matra Jet to reconcile you with the police.
While the national gendarmerie has just received its news Alpine A110 VRI (Rapid Intervention Vehicle), one of the emblematic “police blue” cars proudly sits in the Village of the Grand Circuit at Le Mans Classic. This is a Matra Jet V6.
Alpine and the gendarmes, it's a passionate story that has already lasted for many years. An A310 V6, in active service from 1974 to 1987, is there to remind us of this.
On the National Police side, in addition to a particularly successful human-sized police station diorama, we can find two Peugeot 309 and a 4hp.
A BMW K75 RT is in a good place, proving that a motorized passion can be combined on 4 or 2 wheels, particularly on the Sarthe site which hosts the Grand Prix MotoGP.
At the exit of the Plateau 1 paddock, bringing together cars from the pre-war period 1923 – 1939, two motorcycles and their riders watch over its jewels in a very… Le Mans Classic!

“Jet V6”, are you sure Mr. Calmels? Unknown in the catalog, I would rather say Djet VS (with the V for 5 in Roman numerals) in fact it is written on it
