Known under the nickname “Dédé la Sardine”, André Guelfi was born in Morocco in 1919. This formidable businessman made his fortune in banking before investing in sardine fishing, developing the first factory boats , hence its nickname. He got into motor racing in the 50s, achieving some good results in Morocco, at a time when world-class drivers came to perform there. We live it on
