The Goodwood Festival of Speed (England, June 23-26) will welcome a delegation of Renault as well asAlpine. The Renault Classic department has been a regular at the historic British event for several decades, and will be sending the 10 Renault RS1979 to the climb.
This will be the first car equipped with a turbocharger to have won a Grand Prix at Dijon-Prenois in the hands of Jean-Pierre Jabouille. At Goodwood, he's his friend Rene Arnoux (7 victories in F1) who will pilot it.
