Announcements of new manufacturers in the Hypercar category continue for 2023. After confirmations from Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Peugeot, Glickenhaus, ByKolles, BMW, Acura, and of course Toyota, it is Cadillac which has added its name to this long list… the day after the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Interview with Laura Wontrop-Klauser, director of the motorsport program at General Motors.

How do you feel after these 24 Hours of Le Mans marked by the return of Corvette?

I am exhausted, but very happy with the team's performance. I am very proud of all the work that has been done. We came with our new car (the Corvette C8.R. Editor's note) and managed to fight with it. Ferrari For victory. To do it until the end was a great moment. After that, I couldn't wait to turn off all the electronics and go to sleep. (Laughs)

What does Le Mans mean to you compared to Daytona or Sebring?
