ELMS / Asian LMS – TDS Racing partners with Norma

For several seasons a regular in the LM P2 and GT pelotons, the team TDS Racing will bring a new string to its bow from October 2016 in Zhuhai in China by joining the category LM P3 on the Asian front Le Mans Series.

Faced with the very popular Ligier JS P3, it is ultimately with the Norma M30 recently revealed by the structure of Norbert Santos, that Xavier Combet's team will compete in the Asian series, before leading a program in ELMS in 2017.

“We have decided to enter Norma M30s and are delighted to jointly begin the LM P3 project with Norbert Santos, and there is no doubt that the competitiveness of the M30 will be there, underlines Xavier Combet.

Our objective in competition is to train drivers and prepare cars to make them win, as we have done before in other disciplines such as the World Series by Renault or the GT3. We are going to start the LM P3 adventure in Asia this winter (AsLMS) and continue it in ELMS during the 2017 season, in order to create a real sector and allow drivers from all backgrounds to access the highest level of the European and world endurance.

Our experience of endurance and our know-how, acquired over six years in LM P2, will undoubtedly be a major asset in the implementation of this new stage, and will undoubtedly contribute to the good performance of the team in this booming category. »
