The Ligier European Series on track

We announced it to you a little over two weeks ago (see Ah n°2223), Ligier Automotive and theELMS were considering the creation of a championship contested alongside the rounds of the continental series promoted by the ACO.

This Friday, in parallel with the 4 Hours of Barcelona, ​​the brand based in Magny-Cours (Nièvre) and the ACO confirmed the arrival in 2020 of the Ligier European Series, featuring only cars developed by Jacques Nicolet's troops .

The Ligier JS P4 or the latest Ligier JS2 R will therefore be accepted for five rounds including an hour of free practice, 2 x 20 minutes of qualifying practice and two one-hour races. The crews may be composed of one or two pilots.
