The organizers of the ELMS have revealed the provisional entry list for the 4h of Le Castellet. Carlin will not make the trip.

Those entered for the 4 hours of Castellet

Carlin was due to enter his Dallara P217 at the 4 Hours of Le Castellet on July 19, but the British team will ultimately skip the opening round of the 2020 season of theELMS. The organizers of the European championshipEndurance confirmed this by publishing the provisional entry list which includes a total of 37 cars and 103 drivers.

The premier LMP2 category will be the best represented with 15 crews entered on three models: the Oreca 07, the Ligier JSP217 and the Aurus 01 from G-Drive Racing. Idec will put its title back on the line with Paul-Loup Chatin and Paul Lafargue coming together again to work with Richard Bradley. The reigning champions will face their former partner Memo Rojas who will now play for Dragonspeed alongside Ben Hanley and Ryan Cullen.

The LMP3 field will welcome 12 cars with 8 Ligier JS P320s and 4 Duqueine M30-D08s. Eurointernational will look to retain its crown with Paolo Brajnik and Leonard Hoogenboom winning the Michelin Le Mans Cup in 2018. The reigning champion team will notably find its main opponent Inter Europol Competition which has retained its Moore-Hippe duo.

The grid will be completed by 10 GTEs entered with 3 manufacturers: Ferrari, Porsche et Aston Martin. Dempsey-Proton Racing will aim for a new title with its No. 911 77 RSR driven by Ried-Beretta-Picariello. Aston Martin will field a Vantage with Dalla Lana-Lauda-Gunn for the first two rounds of the ELMS in order to prepare for its resumption in WEC.
