Will Stevens will return to the European Le Mans Series. A regular in the series for the last four seasons with the Panis team, the Briton has since taken the path of WEC with JOTA. With success, since he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year alongside Antonio Felix da Costa and Roberto Gonzalez.
This weekend, Will Stevens will replace Jack Aitken in the Racing Team Turkey LM P2 Pro-Am in which he will support Charlie Eastwood and Salih Yoluç. Aitken will in fact be held back by a clash of dates with the ADAC GT Masters, another series in which he is entered.
“Unfortunately Jack will not be with us as he will be racing in a different series at the same time in the fifth race of the season ELMS, explains Umut Aydin, advisor to the team. We wish him success in his race. On the other hand, working with a driver like Will Stevens is exciting for us. His experience ranging from the highest levels of motorsport such as Formula 1 to the endurance series is very valuable. »
