The close-knit team Ferrari confirmed a full-time commitment to the world championshipEndurance as well as in European Le Mans Series within the LMP2 category. The Amato Ferrari structure plans to enter an Oreca 07-Gibson. What to prepare for the jump to the premier category in 2023 with the official return of Ferrari to Le Mans from 2023 in LMH?

Without much surprise, AF Corse went to the GT side to train its future crew. After reflection, the Italian team set its sights on the trio François Perrodo-Alessio Rovera-Nicklas Nielsen, already lined up and in the fight for the GTE-Am title with the No. 488 Ferrari 83 GTE EVO. This year, all three men won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in their category.

This announcement marks the return of François Perrodo as a prototype. The Frenchman remains in 8th place overall at the 24 2019 Hours of Le Mans with the No. 07 TDS Racing Oreca 28 with his compatriots Loïc duval and Matthieu Vaxivière.

«If I had the choice, I would have made this decision after the end of the season, so that I could focus on the goal of winning the GTE Am championship., explains François Perrodo to us after the officialization. I'm super happy, because I know two drivers who are not only super fast, but also super nice. It’s a win-win for everyone. It’s great to get into LM P2 Pro-Am »
