The 24 2023 Hours of Le Mans program revealed

The 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023 are preparing for their big party. For this centenary edition, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest has set up a 10-day program. Yes, yes, 10 days of festivities ranging from the traditional weigh-in to the finish on Sunday at 16:00 p.m., including the drivers' parade in the city center.

« The 24 Hours of Le Mans are preparing to celebrate a hundred years of endurance, innovations, but also a land of passion, ACO President Pierre Fillon gets impatient. Hundreds of thousands of people come each year to experience an exceptional moment. A unique parenthesis, a moment of emotion that is passed down from generation to generation.

This race is deeply rooted in the local economic and cultural heritage, and allows our territory to shine throughout the world. For this exceptional anniversary, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest is doing everything possible to offer spectators a unique and extraordinary experience.."

The program for the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023

The hostilities of the centenary edition will begin on Thursday 1er next June with the opening of the “Centenary” exhibition at the 24 Hours museum. This will be followed by the weigh-in the following two days but also the launch evening in the city center on June 3.

The action on the track will begin on Sunday June 4 with the first test day of the 24 Hours of Le Mans but also a race in the Ligier European Series. The official race will begin on Wednesday June 7 with free practice and qualifying before the Hyperpole the next day. Friday, no driving in Sarthe but an opening of the track to the public, the parade in the city, various events in the circuit village and an auction from RM Sotheby's.

En ce qui concerne la course, le départ de l’édition du centenaire des 24 Heures du Mans sera donné le samedi 10 juin à 16h00. À noter qu’en plus des Ligier European Series, la Porsche Carrera Cup, la Michelin Le Mans Cup et le Ferrari Challenge will occur as a curtain raiser.
