Nico Müller first driver confirmed for Audi's return to Le Mans

Nico Müller likes surprises. While he had only just put his helmet down after a 2021 season of the German Touring Championship (DTM) concluded in 10th place this Sunday, October 10, the 29-year-old driver announced his future adventure with Audi on his social networks: Le Mans in LMDh.

Nico Müller is a regular at Audi Sport. His first official driver contract dates back to 2014 as part of the old DTM formula. A year later, he achieved his first major success for the Ingolstadt firm in the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring. Specialist in the Audi R8 LMS in various GT3 competitions (IGTC, GT World Challenge, VLN, FIA World Cup), the former hope of the car (3rd in the 3 GP2010 Series) also finished the DTM twice as vice-champion (2019 and 2020).

Furthermore, a sign of his curiosity for all kinds of disciplines, the native of Thun has already tried his hand at the World Rallycross (still with Audi, in 2017 and 2018) and more recently at the Formula E, first as development driver for Audi ABT and permanent at Dragon.
