It is at Studio Gabriel, usual stronghold of Michel Drucker or Laurent Ruquier for television, that the second edition of 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtuelles was installed last weekend. Initially scheduled for Birmingham (England), as part of the Autosport International show, the finale of the first season of the Le Mans Virtual Series was relocated to Paris, the central point of a vast spider's web across the world. More than two hundred professional and simulation drivers competed at the same time on the rFactor2 platform, where the Circuit de la Sarthe was faithfully reproduced, down to the camera angle, including the helicopter. The day/night cycle and June weather changes were also predicted, but rain hadn't decided to make an appearance.
