Gran Turismo World Series 2024 launches April 17

As in previous years, two categories will be present: the Nations Cup, in which drivers will have the honor of representing their country and Manufacturers Cup, where they will represent a car manufacturer.

Online qualifying for the Nations Cup will begin on April 17. They will take place over three weeks and will include six rounds. Starting Wednesday, May 8, it will be the Manufacturers Cup's turn to have its three-week qualifiers and six weeks of online qualifiers.

Following the online qualifiers, the top players, who meet the eligibility criteria, will be selected to participate in the live events.

A format change will also appear in 2024 with three live events leading up to the end-of-season World Finals.

The live event schedule is as follows:

Round 1 – Montreal, Canada | Saturday July 6

Round 2 – Prague, Czech Republic | Saturday August 10

Round 3 – Tokyo, Japan | Saturday September 28

All live events will be open to the public and details regarding ticket purchases will be published on Gran Turismo social channels.

Michelin, Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR), Genesis, Mazda, Brembo and Fanatec continue their support as official partners of the Gran Turismo World Series in 2024.

The Gran Turismo World Series is open to all players with a PS Plus subscription, via the “Sport” mode of Gran Turismo® 7.
