Compete against WTCR drivers in the 2020 Esports Series

In the wake of the F1, theIMSA and many other championships during this period of confinement due to the coronavirus pandemic, the WTCR initiated the 2020 pre-season of its Esport Series this Wednesday, which will be contested as in 2019 on the RaceRoom game.

Players from all over the world will be able to compete against the real drivers of the discipline, with several places reserved for them in each round on the program.

From today, and on the Hungaroring track, free practice will begin at 17 p.m., before qualifying ends on March 31 at 21 p.m. The races will take place on April 6 at 19:30 p.m.

This will be followed by the Slovakia Ring (tests from March 31, end of qualifying on April 14 and races on April 20), Ningbo (tests from April 14, end of qualifying on April 28 and races on May 4) and Sepang (tests from April 28, end of qualifying on May 12 and races on May 18).

The top 20 in qualifying will race on the game's first server, where ten real WTCR drivers will officiate. Drivers ranked 21st to 44th in qualifying will race on server 2, those ranked 45th to 68th place on server 3 and those ranked 69th to 92nd place on server 4.

Points will only be awarded on server 1. Two races, the second with a reverse grid, will be contested on each circuit. Tire degradation and damage will be effective, and the Balance of Performance activated. No adjustments can be made, and no pit stops will be permitted.

Here are the real pilots who can be faced:

Mikel Azcona (CUPRA TCR), Kevin Ceccon (Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce TCR), Yann Ehrlacher (Lynk& Co 03 TCR), Luca Engstler (Hyundai i30 N TCR), Néstor Girolami (Honda Civic Type R TCR), Esteban Guerrieri (Honda Civic Type R TCR), Mato Homola (Hyundai i30 N TCR), Niels Langeveld (Audi RS 3 LMS), Norbert Michelisz (Hyundai i30 N TCR), Tiago Monteiro (Honda Civic Type R TCR)
