Brendon Leigh and Mercedes crowned in F1 Esports Series

The Esports scene F1 experienced its epilogue last night with the final round of the F1 Esports Series. Solid leader of the general classification with 43 points ahead, the driver Mercedes-AMG Esports Brendon Leigh played in this final to claim a second crown after the one obtained in 2017.

Leigh took second place in the race at Hockenheim behind Salih Saltunç (Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 eSports Team) before winning in Singapore and sealing his title at COTA in Austin by winning again. The final event on the Abu Dhabi track was won by Brendon Leigh's Mercedes teammate, Daniel Bereznay.

“The start of the season was incredible, Leigh comments. It was the first time teams had entered the series and to be able to join Mercedes was great. They are my favorite team in real life.

Working with them and seeing what goes on behind the scenes was amazing and it really increased my motivation. The way I work, the way I set up the car has changed, I put a lot more effort and passion into my races now – and it has yielded results. »

Mercedes is titled ahead Toro Rosso.
