F1 Manager 2022 unveils the 2nd episode of its making-of

The release of F1 Manager 2022 is fast approaching. Expected for August 30 (players who have pre-ordered will be able to play on August 25) on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the new game dedicated to managing a stable of Formula 1 continues its development.

This Thursday, July 14, the developers of F1 Manager 2022 unveiled the 2nd episode of the making-of of the game entitled “People Power”. During it, David Braben, CEO and founder of Frontier, the video game development studio, and Matt Dickinson, creative director, discuss the commitment to offering " a truly authentic experience ". In F1 Manager 2022, players will be able to take charge of the team of their choice to lead it to the title while choosing their driver duo, from the current grid.

This new episode of the making-of of F1 Manager 2022 offers us the opportunity to dive into the driver modeling process with participation in two “scan” sessions ofAlexander albon et Guanyu-Zhou, drivers for Williams et Alfa Romeo respectively. No less than 200 cameras “ allow you to create complex 3D facial models, bringing every driver in the game to life in breathtaking detail. Each driver also has a data profile, created from a multitude of real historical data points, to accurately reflect their behaviors and driving style."

The F1 Manager 2022 development team was given access to data and TV broadcast archives “ in order to create a more real-than-life immersive simulation experience. Future team principals will be able to use authentic statistics to guide their decisions, reacting to realistic tire degradation, changing weather conditions and safety car and red flag incidents."
