George Russell wins the Virtual Spanish GP

One of the most diligent on the simulations in recent weeks, George Russell (Williams) pocketed victory last night at the Virtual Spanish Grand Prix, on the game F1 2019, ahead of Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).

The Scuderia driver nevertheless got the better of the British pole-sitter in the first turns of the Barcelona track. A position that the young Monegasque talent will maintain until the last laps before the situation is turned upside down.

Russell continues the fast laps and takes the advantage over Leclerc on lap 25, but the Williams resident is then subject to a three-second penalty for not respecting the track limits.

We think Leclerc is on his way to success, but the latter is in turn penalized for exceeding the racing line. Russell therefore validates his victory ahead of Leclerc and Esteban Gutiérrez (Mercedes).

Alex Albon (Red Bull) and Nicholas latifi (Williams) complete the top 5.
