Juan Pablo Montoya was present this weekend at Studio Gabriel, in Paris, with his son Sebastian for the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual. The former pilot of Formula 1 traveled to enjoy the event with his son, despite a server problem hampering the race of the Oreca LM P2 from LMVS Guest Car, shared with the Simracers Luca D’Amelio and Christopher Högfeldt. “There was this setback, but it’s a detail to be sorted out, explained Juan Pablo Montoya to us after his last stint. We lost about three rounds because we got kicked off the server. It's a little difficult, but we're here to enjoy it with Sebastian and it's a cool show. They put on a hell of a show, they're doing an incredible job and the race is really cool. It was an annoying problem, but it's not the end of the world. » The important thing for the Colombian was to share this experience with his son before heading to Abu Dhabi, where Sebastian will take part in the first of three rounds of the Formula Regional Asian Championship (FRAC) on his program on January 23. “It’s always cool to do anything with Sebastian. We get along very well and he has a lot of fun. » If we saw him attentive when his son was behind the wheel, Juan Pablo admitted that it was mainly he who received advice from Sebastian. “He’s the one who gave me advice!” He spends a lot more time on the simulator than me after all. » Also a good way to work together before finding yourself in the same car during the 12 Hours of Sebring (March 19) in DragonSpeed's LM P2.
