The 2024 opus of the F1 video game saga, developed by EA Sports and Codemasters, will be available on May 31 on PC and consoles.

This will be the earliest release date of the games saga F1, since the takeover of the franchise by Codemasters – bought by EA Sports in 2021 – 15 years ago. The next official video game of the discipline, F1 24, will be available on May 31 on PC, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One and PS5 / PS4, one week after the Monaco Grand Prix.

Apart from the release date, few details have been revealed about F1 24. EA Sports nevertheless describes a revised career mode. “We will reveal the full game soon, including the new Career mode, the new EA Sports dynamic behavior system and much more”, said Lee Mather, senior creative director at Codemasters.

EA Sports also specifies that players who own F1 23 can participate in Time Trial challenges with a selection of 2024 cars (with 2024 liveries of McLaren, Williams, Alpine et Haas) if they pre-order the F1 24 game before April 24, in addition to a 15% discount for players of the F1 2021, F1 22 or F1 23 games. “For the first time, F1 23 fans can connect immediately to the 2024 season and reunite with their favorite teams and drivers before the first race this weekend,” adds Lee Mather.
