The F1 Esports Series begins its second season… without Ferrari

Increasingly popular, the Esport version F1 will soon enter its second season, to determine the successor to Brendon Leigh, winner of the first season in 2017.

From April 13, competitors will compete via the F1 2017 game (available on PS4, Xbox One or PC), in four qualifying rounds. The first event will put pilots in control of the Mercedes de Valtteri Bottas at the Shanghai circuit in China, with the aim of finishing on the podium with five laps remaining, starting from sixth place on a drying track.

The ten best players on each platform will be brought together for an event broadcast online, where the top three will be selected to enter the Pro Draft.

Within this selection of 40 players, the official teams entered must choose a driver to represent them for the second part of the season which will begin in September. Three races will be organized to determine the 2018 champion, who will pocket the tidy sum of $200.

Mercedes, Red Bull, Hyper Energy eForce India, Williams F1 Esports Team, Renault Sport Team Vitality, Haas F1 Esports Team, McLaren, Toro Rosso et Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 will be there, i.e. the entire field except the Team Ferrari.
