Petter Solberg with Renault in F1 Virtual GP Series

The next round of F1 Virtual Grand Prix Series, organized this Sunday at 19 p.m. as the Dutch Grand Prix, but contested on the Interlagos track in Brazil (the Zandvoort circuit not being available in F1 2019), will see the Norwegian Petter Solberg defend the colors of Renault F1 Team.

The world champion WRC and double world champion World RX will be fielded by the team at Le Losange alongside the Dane Christian Lundgaard, resident of the Renault Sport Academy and driver F2 at ART Grand Prix.

Solberg has been retraining in Esports for several weeks, following the example of his son Oliver, and is notably competing in the Solberg World Cup in rally on the Dirt Rally 2.0 simulation.

We're all changing our habits with the situation the world is in and I'm really looking forward to getting behind the wheel with Christian. His father Henrik and I competed against each other when we were younger, so I'm delighted to have a teammate from a good rallying family. »

Renault will try to confirm the victory obtained by Guanyu-Zhou during the Bahrain event. Facing them, Lundgaard and Solberg will find Alex on their way Albon (Red Bull), Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo), George Russell and Nicholas latifi (Williams) and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) among the F1 2020 holders.

The grid will also be completed by professional English cricketers Stuart Broad (Alpha Tauri) and Ben Stokes (Red Bull). Enzo Fittipaldi (Ferrari), or the captain of AC Milan, Alessio Romagnoli (AlphaTauri), will also be there.
