Quentin Dall'Olmo wins World RX Esports in Montalegre

If he counts on the Hansen brothers in the world championship of rallycross, another brotherhood proves formidable in simulation racing. The Frenchman Quentin Dall'Olmo who won the second round of the virtual World RX championship on his Peugeot 208 after dominating the qualifying heats and his semi-final.

The winner nevertheless crossed the finish line of the final in second position behind his brother Killian, also entered in a Lion car, but the first Peugeot was penalized by 20 seconds for early departure.

 

 

“I am very happy with this victory. It was a perfect day for me, commented the winner. It was fantastic to be in the lead every time. I took my revenge after a bad result on the Catalunya circuit. I was leading in the qualifying heats, but finished last in my semi-final after an accident in the first turn. »

“It’s a shame for my little brother Killian to have anticipated the start because we could have done a double, but it’s still a great day for us”, specified Quentin Dall’Olmo.

This is the pilot of rally British Jon Armstrong who finally took second place while Supercars resident Shane van Gisbergen completed the podium ahead of Killian Dall'Olmo and Matias Adielsson.

Rokas Baciuska and Timmy Hansen were eliminated at the gates of the final by finishing in the last positions in their semi-final. Kevin Hansen also finished last in the other semi-final.
