We haven't seen him in competition yet, but that doesn't mean that Romain Grosjean not interested in esports. Quite the contrary! The Frenchman has just unveiled his own R8G simracing team, which aims to become “ one of the major figures in online motor racing ».
For this, Grosjean has joined forces with the Triple A eSports structure, which notably includes Olivier Panis in its ranks, and will rely on a pool of talents who will compete on various platforms and in several championships. Their identity will be revealed at a later date as R8G is expected to make its first competitive appearance this weekend at the digital 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
Grosjean has not yet planned to line up at the start but who knows if the desire to ride will not quickly tickle him?
