Skoda Motorsport will ride the wave of Esport tomorrow, revived by the coronavirus pandemic, via the launch of its eChallenge.
Contested on the Dirt Rally 2.0 simulation, available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, this challenge will bring together real drivers (Pontus Tidemand, Chris Ingram, Martin Koči and especially Oliver Solberg, supported by Skoda in WRC, and also at the initiative of the Solberg World Cup on Dirt Rally 2.0), and more or less experienced gamers, such as Petr Semerád, Skoda Esport ambassador.
The competitors will logically compete at the wheel of the Skoda Fabia Rally2 (new name of the R5 Evo), with the first playing field being Rally from Argentina, a fairly complicated round due to the very narrow layout of its special stages.
For five days, participants will need to register with the SKODA club in the game (https://dirtrally2.com/clubs/club/295041, name of the club: SKODA ECHALLENGE), the ranking being finalized on April 26. On your wheels and controllers.
