A well-stocked grid for the launch of the SRO E-Sport GT Series
Several categories will animate the six events of the virtual championship. The 49 pro drivers will find themselves, it is logical, in the Pro class, while the fans of Esport will be placed in Silver. Pure independent amateurs will be able to aim for a place in the race reserved for Ams.
Among the Pros, there will be beautiful linen. GT World Challenge and Intercontinental GT Challenge regulars (IGTC) will be ones to watch, like Raffaele Marciello (Mercedes), Andrea Caldarelli (Lamborghini) or Christian Engelhart (Porsche).
The 2009 world champion Formula 1 Jenson Button will defend the colors of its own structure with a McLaren. Bentley is the manufacturer which will benefit from the largest number of official drivers with four representatives: Alex Buncombe, Andy Soucek, Seb Morris and Jordan Pepper.
Several French people will be present in Pro : Arno Santamato (Mercedes) with AKKA-ASP, Arthur Rougier (Audi) with Saintéloc Racing and Romain Monti (Bentley) with Bullitt Racing.
In the category silver, the French Triple A Esports team will trust the Tricolores Axel Petit and Alexandre Vromant as well as the Spaniard Jesus Sicilia, entered with two Lexus RC-F GT3s and a Aston Martin Vantage AMR. Finally, Jean Alesi, through its eSports Academy, will field the Italians Giovanni de Salvo, Danilo Santoro and Carlo Luciano Bedin on Lamborghinis and a Porsche.
The first round will begin on Sunday April 26 at 13:45 p.m. and can be followed live on the GT World YouTube page. Then will come the events of Spa-Francorchamps (May 10), Nürburgring (May 17), Barcelona (May 31) and a circuit chosen by the fans on June 14.
