Van Gisbergen nears sweep at Michigan in Supercars All Star Series

Shane van Gisbergen almost dominated the entire Supercars All Star Series meeting held on the Michigan International Speedway oval on the iRacing platform. The resident of Red Bull Holden dominated the first two sprint races, winning 9 times in the last 12 starts.

The last, longer race with 45 loops was nevertheless more difficult for him. The championship leader only finished 14th after adopting a two-stop strategy when a single pit stop was enough. It was Scott McLaughlin who won the last event and regained contact in the fight for the title.
