An online race “Not the AusGP” will in fact be organized via the video game F1 2019, under official license of the World Championship, by the Veloce Esports structure, present in particular on F1 2019, Gran Turismo…
The entity, in which the Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne is involved, aims to pit real F1 drivers against the best current players. The race will be broadcast on Veloce Esports' Youtube and Twitch platforms.
Among the real pilots, we will find Lando Norris, pilot McLaren et grand passionné de sim racing, de même que Sacha Fenestraz, piloet Super GT et Super Formula avec Toyota, Maximilian Günther (BMW i Andretti en Formula E), Antonio Félix Da Costa (DS Techeetah in Formula E) or, more surprisingly, the goalkeeper of Belgian Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois.
