We've been seeing James Vowles at the trackside for years. But this year, we will also be able to see him on the track during the Goodwood festival (July 11-14), rare fact which deserves to be highlighted. The main team of Williams will not be the only member of the English team to take the wheel and for good reason, Alexander albon et Logan sargeant will also be there, as will Lia Block, daughter of the late Ken and an integral part of the Williams academy which she represents in F1 Academy

Next July, Vowles and his drivers will have the chance to drive the 08 FW1982. The Williams which saw Keke Rosberg win his one and only world champion title (no coronation on the other hand for Williams, defeated by Ferrari). “It’s a dream come true for me to drive a title-winning Williams. We look forward to tackling the hill climb and putting on a great show for the public who gather at Goodwood every year,” rejoices the main Williams team.

The links between Williams and the Goodwood Festival of Speed continue to strengthen over time. The Duke of Richmond, founder of the gathering, is delighted with the presence of an entity with such renown: “Our fans are always excited to see the Formula 1 teams, cars and drivers in action and, like them, I can't wait to see Alex, Logan, James and Lia take to the hill . »

The party is already shaping up to be grandiose in Sussex, in the United Kingdom.
