In the first heat, Will Davison (Dick Johnson Racing) sets the reference time. Very comfortable, the driver of the Ford Mustang won without being worried by his opponents, allowing himself the luxury of relegating Van Gisbergen to more than 8″. Second, the Kiwi admits not having been able to catch Davison's pace after his pit stop. The podium is completed by Anton de Pasquale (Dick Johnson Racing).
