From Pasquale and Waters winners of the day at The Bend

Author of the first pole position of his career Anton de Pasquale had everything to get his first victory since Darwin last year.

First on the line, the Australian defended himself well against his teammate Will Davison when the lights went out and above all avoided the chaos of the first lap which sent Cameron Waters, Macauley Jones (Brad Jones Racing) and even Chaz Mostert (Walkinshaw Andretti United) on the mat.

In the lead at the end of this eventful first lap, Anton de Pasquale managed his start to the race perfectly. Without forcing too much, he stopped on the 7th lap before resuming the track behind Shane van Gisbergen (Triple Eight) who had not yet refueled.

Once again the leader after the latter's stop, the Dick Johnson Racing driver saw Will Davison move up to 2nd place after getting rid of James Courtney (Tickford Racing) on the 17th lap.

Things will no longer change on the side of the DJR who offers his first double since The Bend 2020 thanks to the success of Anton de Pasquale, his second in career and the first with his new team, and in 2nd place for Will Davison also offering the 400th victory to Ford in Supercars

Using an offbeat strategy and a stop made on the 16th of the 24 laps of the race, Shane van Gisbergen finally managed to secure his 8th podium of the season after starting 13th on the grid.

Once again on pole for the second round of the day, the third of the weekend, Anton de Pasquale this time had much less luck.

Despite another good start, the DJR rider was forced to hand over control of the race to Cameron Waters and even throw in the towel due to an engine failure.

Installed in the lead, the Tickford Racing driver then had to keep behind him a great customer in the person of Shane van Gisbergen. Although he managed to push him back to 2"9, Cameron Waters saw his lead fall back to 1"3 when he passed through the pit lane on the 12th lap.

Impressive on his first stint, Shane van Gisbergen once again relied on an offbeat strategy (15th lap) which allowed him to return to the track in the exhausts of Cameron Waters.

Despite his numerous attempts, the championship leader was unable to find an opening on Cameron Waters who headed straight for his first success of the year.

Second in the first Sunday race, Will Davison ends his weekend at The Bend with another podium thanks to his 3rd place.
