The CTF Delta Chandioux team wins in Aragon

Given in bright sunshine, the 7:00 a.m. round was endurance in name only. Indeed, the leading cars covered a real sprint. Under these conditions, there were numerous changes of leaders. Depending on the incidents on the track which resulted in several Code 60s, a few yellow flags and penalties handed out by the race management for non-compliance with the rules, the fight for first place was lively.

After a clear start unlike yesterday, five Lameras isolated themselves at the front of the pack. The No. 62 (Team Lamera) led at the start then was overtaken by the 421 (EC Racing). The 29 also took part in the debates before falling back into line a little, waiting for its time. Finally, the 80 (Continental Racing) placed itself in ambush in front of the 73 (L'Auto Leclerc) which was never really able to express itself with a handicapping engine problem on each restart.

Returning to the lead, the 62 had made a hole when it experienced a suspension problem causing it to forget its hopes of victory. The 421 was also slowed down so much so that the podium had to be decided between the last three or rather between the 29 and the 80 as the 73 was constantly losing ground. Depending on pit stops, refueling and differences in crew levels, the two cars changed positions several times. A few minutes from the checkered flag, the 29 definitely took the reins and won for the first time. In Pro/Am, the 53 from Genius Water Racing took advantage of the misfortunes of the 15 (accelerator) to win. Finally in the Gentlemen category, the 9 of Triangle Europe won with the added bonus of a nice 9e rank.
