The storm that fell at the very end of the day yesterday was only a distant memory this morning. The heat was already present when the starting grid was set up for the 7 hour race. Starting from the first row, the No. 62 (Team Lamera) completed a few laps in the lead, but it remained under threat from the 421 (ETC Racing) whose driver had learned his lesson from Saturday by signing an impeccable takeoff. Faster in the long straight, the occupant of the red car took the lead. A ballet between three cars was organized for the three best ranks since to the two already mentioned was added the 29 (CTF Delta Chandioux) which moved into the leader's chair for a few laps. In favor of driver changes, refueling and driver level, the 62 returned to its initial position and widened the gap. Behind, while the 421 had to be returned to the pits for mechanical intervention, the positions were gradually established. Having a lap lead, the 62 could even afford to operate a stop & go for non-compliance with a code 60. The fight was closer for the 2e place between 29 and 80 separated by a few seconds. Having made a good comeback, the 73 (L'Auto Leclerc) came back 4e. Winner yesterday in the Pro/Am category, the 15 (Race Track Competition) dominates the ranking with 2 minutes ahead of the 35 (ETC Racing 2). Finally, with more than 3 hours of racing remaining, the 45 (Triangle Monaco) leads in Gentlemen.
