Scott McLaughlin (Ford) can smile after the 20th race of the 2019 Supercars season. The New Zealander collected his 14th victory this year, and increased his lead in the championship thanks to the misadventures of his teammate Fabian Coulthard.
The latter only finished 18th in Race 2 held at Ipswich, after a collision with Anton de Pasquale (Holden). The gap between the two men now reaches 433 points!

Pole sitter Scott McLaughlin kept the threat of Shane van Gisbergen (Holden) behind him. Ford achieves a full success since the Oval already secures the Manufacturers title, while there are still 12 races to go, including the endurance events.
