Auto GP – Kimiya Sato: “A title to break into Europe”

A second place, then a victory. This is the assessment that Kimiya Sato offered himself during the inaugural weekend of the Auto Gp at Monza. Two good results which allow the Japanese from Euronova to arrive in Marrakech in Morocco, for the second event of the year, in control of the Drivers classification. “I am very happy with what we accomplished in the first round,” he explains. ?I didn?t think I could fight for victory from Monza, but it?s only fair given the good work done by the team. I ended up with perfect settings for the rain, so I was able to give it my all and get two good results, enough to now lead the championship.

A place that the Japanese absolutely does not want to leave, in order to be able to win the title in this category which has already seen Felipe Massa and Romain Grosjean in the past. “After such a strong start, I’m really aiming for the championship to make my breakthrough in Europe.”
