Bianchi continues his rise

Champion of Formula 3 Euro Series at 20 years old even before the end of the season, Jules Bianchi confirms all the good things we think of him. From 2007 and his accession to the car, he thus managed to win the title of French Formula Champion Renault 2.0 within the SG Formula team. The following season, the native of Nice reached a milestone and reached the F3 Euro Series championship in the ART Grand Prix team. Winner of the Formula 3 Masters in Zolder from his first participation, he finished the year in third place in the championship behind Nico Hulkenberg and Edoardo Mortara.

This season, Bianchi has decided to return for a new F3 Euro Series season. By winning the title before the end of the season, he confirmed his full potential by crossing the finish line in the lead eight times. The Habs do not intend to stop there and will advance to the GP2 Series championship next season.

After promising tests at Jerez last week where he set the third and first times in the two test sessions, Bianchi was promoted to starting driver at ART Grand Prix in the GP2 Series where he will succeed Nico Hülkenberg. For the moment, the two residents of Fred Vasseur's team are pursuing relatively similar trajectories. The two men thus both finished their first year of F3 Euro Series in third place while winning in the very tough Masters of Zolder before winning the title the following season.

At ART Grand Prix, Bianchi will have the difficult task of succeeding the German driver who, for his first season in the GP2 Series, set the bar high by winning the title. “ Becoming the new category champion is great, but we didn't finish the season », declared Bianchi after winning the title while already looking towards the final meeting of the season. “ I would like to thank ART Grand Prix by bringing them the team title. They are a fabulous team and I can never say thank you enough. »
