If the first two races had been very calm, the third Hungarian event had a turbulent start with contact between Daniel Ticktum (Motopark) and Marcus Armstrong (Prema Powerteam), leaving the New Zealander on the floor. Other incidents at the back of the peloton must have resulted in Full Course Yellow for two minutes.
At the green flag, Enaam Ahmed (Hitech GP) kept the advantage over his compatriot Ticktum while Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam) took 3e position against his former F4 teammate Jüri Vips (Motopark).
The positions did not change until the checkered flag and Enaam Ahmed scored a second success in a row and became the first driver to win two races this season. He won ahead of Daniel Ticktum and Mick Schumacher who signed his second podium in F3.
Jüri Vips finishes 4e in front of Guan Yu Zhou (Prema Powerteam). Sacha fenestraz (Carlin) concludes his weekend with a 6e place ahead of Ralf Aron (Prema Powerteam). Jonathan Aberdein (Motopark) ranks 8e ahead of Nikita Troitsky (Carlin) and Fabio Scherer (Motopark), the Swiss having received a 5s penalty even though he had finished 8e.
