Fans of reality TV and show business know Caitlyn Jenner for her role in the show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alongside her daughter-in-law Kim Kardashian. But before coming out as transgender in 2015, the business and media woman was an accomplished athlete.

It is undoubtedly to reconnect with this sporting past as well as to support the cause of women that Caitlyn Jenner embarked on the adventure of the W Series, by becoming the owner of a team in the single-seater championship reserved for the gent female in 2022.

“As a strong believer in fair competition, a lover of motor racing and a supporter of all women in sport from grassroots to professional, the W Series ticks all the boxes for me, declared the Olympic decathlon champion in Montreal in 1976 under the name Bruce Jenner. The W Series is changing the face of motorsport. As has always been the case, I'm here to win it. »

Caitlyn Jenner, team principal of Jenner Racing in the paddocks of the eight rounds of the 2022 calendar on the sidelines of the Formula 1 (opening in Miami on May 8), has not yet announced its two pilots.

For the record, Caitlyn Jenner had already participated in automobile competitions, but behind the wheel, in IMSA. In his past, Jenner defended the colors of Ford in GT as well as in prototype for six years, including a second place at the 24 Hours of Daytona in the GTO class as well as in the championship in 1986:
