This is what we call a masterstroke, or almost. Author of the best times during qualifying 1 and 2 earlier this Saturday, Gianluca Petecof stood out as the driver to beat.
Starting from first place in race 1, the Brazilian had no trouble converting his pole position into victory, his third of the season. At the finish line, the Prema driver beat his teammates Arthur Leclerc and Oliver Rasmussen, respectively relegated to 3 and 8 seconds.
Back in the Regional after two experiences in F3, Pierre-Louis Chovet (VAR) finished this first Austrian round in fifth place, his position when the lights went out. The Habs were never able to fight for victory but put in a good race, distancing their first pursuer by more than 14 seconds.

In the ranking, no big change is to be reported. Ginaluca Petecof is still in the lead with 141 points, ahead of Arthur Leclerc (129) and Oliver Rasmussen (100). Pierre-Louis Chovet moves back to 5th place with 69 units.
Races 2 and 3 will take place this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 16:55 p.m.
