Eng wins, Soucek wins

Philipp Eng, who started in pole position, is in the best position for a good result. But, from the start, the cars rubbed shoulders and it was with a bit of luck that all the cars came out of the second corner without a hitch. However, the drivers do not spare the drivers when they go off the track. And in particular Tobias Hegewald, so dominant at Spa (he won both races), who is having the worst difficulty staying on the track. Halfway through the race, car abandons it and the safety car must return to allow the broken down car to be evacuated. While Eng and Soucek had escaped to the front, the restart allowed us to witness a thrilling second part of the race.

In the lead, Eng keeps the lead, under constant pressure from Soucek, who does not attempt the impossible and seeks to secure the points. Not far from there, Julien Jousse is sixth and proves his consistency, even if he lacks the big points to be a candidate for the champion title. Put under pressure, the Frenchman goes wide and hits the wall two laps from the finish. Finally, Eng won ahead of Soucek, Surtees, Wickens, Vasiliauskas, Iaconelli, Pavlovic and Piscopo. At the top of the championship, Andy Soucek is now eight points ahead of Robert Wickens and twelve points ahead of Philipp Eng.
